The ocean of Puerto Morelos is a national park, here you can find the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world. The national park means rules and regulations. It is not allowed to use any kind of sunblock when you go into the ocean in this area. You can only dive with certified guides who are allowed to work in this area. Beginners can dive in the shallow waters and for the advanced divers there is a beautiful wreck. You can also go on a roadtrip inland, into the jungle, and dive in one of the cenotes. Bull sharks are in this area every year to give birth to their young ones.
